This practice is almost non-existent in Europe, and the dental health of children in those countries is not worse than ours, in many cases it's better. Originally started as a way for the aluminum and other industries to dispose of their toxic waste, fluoridation has long been obsolete....

It is not uncommon to see poor people searching for scraps of food in trash containers near restaurants in the tourist section of Powell St., in San Francisco, one of the world’s wealthiest cities. According to the Seattle Housing Authority (SHA), "SHA’s services have continued throughout this last shutdown. If the government shuts down again on February 16, SHA and other public housing authorities will still have federal funding through February. In addition, SHA has the ability to continue funding expenses through March regardless of whether the government shuts down again in February."...

The average social security income for retirees is currently only $1,461 per month for 2019, or $17,532 annually. In HUD’s contingency plan it mentions that the ‘Housing Choice Voucher Program’ (Section 8 voucher program) is funded on a calendar year basis, and that the monthly payments for November and December of 2018 are scheduled to be made timely.
