Paul Watson for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has offered to withdraw from the current campaign against the Japanese whaling fleet in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary if either the Australian or New Zealand Government agrees to take Japan to court over the whaling issue. He said that if the Australian and New Zealand Government had serious concerns for human safety in regard to confrontations between conservationists and whalers then they should make a proper legal challenge....

Three people were arrested Friday on suspicion that they plotted to blow up U.S. Forest Service property along with cell phone towers and power generators, the FBI said.
Zachary O. Jenson, 20, of Monroe, Wash., Lauren Weiner, 20, of Philadelphia, and Eric Taylor McDavid, 28, of Foresthill, Calif., were arrested Friday morning, said Karen Ernst of the FBI....

The Sea Shepherd continues to follow the Japanese whaling fleet. Following the collision of the Nisshin Maru and Arctic Sunrise on January 8, the Japanese factory ship fled the scene at high speed. Over $650 million has been spent on MUNI 3rd Street Lightrail and it is going no where. Check it out it stops at Visitation Valley when it could have gone further to Ocean Beach and served a better purpose. Then we have two bridges under construction that should have been in place two years ago. One at Marin Street closer to Cargo Street and the other at 4th and King.
