Sacramento Motorist attempts citizen's arrest of Critical Mass
In a brazen disregard for the civil rights of 17 bicycle demonstrators, a
motorist attempted to physically arrest Sacramento Critical Mass bicycle demonstrators and confiscate one
videocamera as "evidence", injuring two people. The charge? "Impeding traffic", a traffic
infraction....

SF Wolfowitz Protest
Not in Our Name joined with many others -- including International ANSWER which secured the sound permit -- to protest Deputy Sec. of War Paul Wolfowitz outside of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. Wolfowitz was speaking inside on "Building the Bridge to a More Peaceful Future" (i.e. a "Pax Americanan" where the US preemptively annihilates any would-be chanllengers)....

Whooping, cheering cyclists on bicycles of all shapes and sizes rolled through the streets of Sacramento last November 1st to an inspired 80's theme sound track. Bystanders on foot, pedal and even in motor vehicles cheered and applauded, danced along to the music, and eagerly accepted flyers describing the event. The ride occurs again this Friday, December 6....
