Families of victims of police murder join call for Feb. 6 protest and demand march permits
In the face of massive outrage over the murder of Oscar Grant, and an epidemic of police brutality, the City of Oakland is again targeting those fighting for justice. The City of Oakland is giving the families of those killed by police and others only one hour to express their rage and grief, and is so far denying a march permit. This is yet another outrage....

Johannes Mehserle the BART police officer who executed Oscar Grant on New Years Eve is about to be out on bail. The Alameda Superior Court put a $3 million bail which means Mehserle will be out for $300,000....

No Bail for Killer Cops!
After the BART police officer charged with murdering an unarmed Black youth was granted bail, community members took to the streets to voice their angery. The Oakland Police Department were quite heavy handed tonight, trying to arrest as many people as possible before nightfall. Here are some photos from the scene......
