Deputy District Attorney Lane Liroff indicated that he will conclude the proceedings tomorrow (Tuesday - July 27th) with one more witness and then will present the Grand Jury with his closing statement....

Update and Schedule of Cardenas Grand Jury
The schedule of the Grand Jury is as follows: Wed. 7-21 will be a part of a day with only a couple of witnesses. Thurs 7-22 will be a full day, Friday will be off and back on Monday and Tuesday 7-26 & 7-27. The DA hopes to conclude by Tuesday of next week....

Today the recently opened Santa Cruz Anarchist Infoshop at 509 Broadway was served a one month notice of terminating our rental contract with the Resource Center for Nonviolence. This came as much of a surprise to us, because until today we have not received any warning or notice of complaints....
