Birgeneau - for Chancellor of UC at Berkeley?
As President of the University of Toronto Robert Birgeneau was a liar and crook. He covered up a horrific fraud in this university. I do not know if he made any discoveries in physics, but he definitely is a completely dishonest man.
Please, see his part in the criminal cover-up of the fraud at my web site:
http://ca.geocities.com/uoftfraud/ and in the linked documents.
If this site does not show, see it as Cached in Google query "University of Toronto fraud".
