On 8 April, three weeks into the invasion, the Americans dropped four 2,000lb bombs on the Baghdad residential area of Mansur. They claimed they thought Saddam was hiding there. They knew they would kill civilians because it was not, as one Centcom mandarin said, a "risk free venture" (sic). So they dropped their bombs and killed 14 civilians in Mansur, most of them members of a Christian family....

Many of their corpses still lie rotting in their incinerated cars, a young woman, burnt naked, slumped face down over the rear seat on the Hillah flyover bridge next to half of a male corpse that is hanging out of the driver's door. Blankets cover a pile of civilian dead, including a cremated child......

This video is important because it humanizes Arabs by showing them as they really are. The video includes scenes from their lives at home. These people there were a captive population that had no choice but to endure this attack and were at risk of losing their lives for no real reason (thousands of civilians were killed in bombings and in their cars). One of the young people (Hamsa) lived in England for 4 years but her family was kicked out after the first Gulf War. She had no way to escape...

In the concert of voices against the war, artists and musicians are taking their part too. To bypass the censorship of the commercial medias, some artists give their antiwar songs free for downloading. Others take part in concerts and events, make advertisings for anti-war groups, make statements in medias when they are interviewed......
