On Saturday November 14, residents of the Midtown Park Apartments in San Francisco's Western Addition and their supporters gathered for a fundraiser and BBQ. The tenants have been on Rent Strike since June against their landlord, the City of San Francisco. which is trying to kick them out....

Terrorism in Paris casts a cloud across UN climate change conference
People around the world will have woken this morning to news of the horrific terrorism attacks in Paris on a Friday night. Over 120 dead, more than 200 injured many seriously. Seven of the eight attackers blew themselves up with strapped on suicide vests and an eighth attacker was shot by police during a storming of a concert theatre. Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies Brutally Beat Man in San Francisco's Mission District
The San Francisco Public Defender’s office this evening released video of two Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies beating a man who is curled up on the ground. The first pig tackles and punches the man and then both proceed to hit him with their batons for nearly a minute, repeatedly striking the man in the head and all over his body.
