Oakland Military Recruiters Say Help Bring Home the Troops
Facing falling enlistment, an unjust war, and a brutal occupation without end, Oakland military recruiters turn to vandalism to promote their message – bring the troops home (by volunteering to be a replacement). I found this leaflet, and few more like it, glued to one of the historic lampposts circling the Lake Merritt walkway on the evening of March 7. It was affixed rather well with a heavy-duty spray adhesive....
