In an effort to move the city out of the debacle of the IPA selection of Chris Constantin, the Mayor and several Councilmembers have been trading memos regarding the next attempt to hire an IPA, leading up to a potential Cinco de Mayo vote. While efforts to problem-solve around an urgent issue is appreciated, rushing forward with another hiring process until a full investigation has been done on “IPA-gate” would do San Jose a disservice....

The organizers of an immigrant rights march in the city of San Jose, California are staying in close contact with Santa Clara County health officials. They have confirmed that there is NO BAN on public gatherings. Furthermore it is unlikely that there will BE any such ban anytime soon. The large amount of publicity about Swine Flu right now, right around the time of immigrant rights actions across the nation, raises questions in many minds.
A quick internet search shows that NO immigrant ...

I might have been a perfect candidate to demonstrate at the San Jose “tea party.” Like colonists more than 200 years ago, I could have held a sign that said, “No taxation without representation.” That’s because I’m an undocumented immigrant, and a taxpayer. And I don’t receive any of the taxpayer benefits, including the right to vote....

On April 15th 2009 The workers of San Jose had their own Tea party protesting against the tax issue that is affecting our nation. A lot of people spoke their mind on their political beliefs and also racial beliefs. Hopefully My photos will speak more then my words....
