FCC Dubs Feminist Lyrics ‘Patently Offensive’
As you may have heard, the FCC recently banned Sarah Jones' "Your Revolution" and fined a radio station $7,000 for playing it, because it is supposedly offensive. The truth is there is much more blatantly offensive and explicit music on the air and this song is an empowering song of sexual liberation for women. This is a serious case of political censorship, and it should not go unchecked....

IRV passes full Board 10-1
IRV will be on the March ballot. Without comment, everyone except Supervisor Yee voted in favor of placing the Instant Runoff Voting charter amendment on the ballot. This is a major victory for the Greens and for revitalizing democracy!
