A roving band of anti-fascists went through the Marina District tonight seeking out Gavin Newsom. Armed with a blaring soundsystem, they didn't find him but disrupted business at the posh establishments that he owns....

Around 6PM on Friday October 25th about 300 protesters ( organized by the group Gay Shame)gathered in the Marina district to protest Gavin Newsom and proposition N (which takes money away from the homeless and is being used by Newsom to drum up support from the business community for a run for mayor in 2003)...
