David Dill only got to speak for small portions, and way too much time was given to the slow talking woman from San Diego who brought a voting machine home to her house. But overall it was pretty good. This writer is doing excellent work. If you compare the stories in the Chron, they are meaningless compared to this. He's blowing the issue open in California, getting at the most serious absurdity of the situation - that we are forced to keep this fake sham going because the state would be in a constitutional crisis if we don't....

John Kerry's expected nomination by the Democratic party qualifies a serious debate about Fred Hanson, a man who did not plead guilty for doing his job in 2001, prior to the massive intelligence failures that have plagued the world since. Hanson might as well be considered a political POW. Kerry (decorated veteran) knows a thing or two about that....
