The Berkeley Housing Authority recently took back vouchers from 14 Section 8 voucher holders because of the massive budget cuts taking place known as sequestration! The Department of Toxic Substances Control quietly released a public notice regarding "relatively high concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds" (VOCs) from the site of LBNL/UC Berkeley's Building 51, which formerly housed the Bevatron particle accelerator.
