San Diego Violates Fluoridation Law, Legal Action Taken California state law requires cities of 10,000 or more to add fluoride chemicals into its residents via the water supply but only if outside funds are available. Those outside funds have dried up in San Diego which has a local law prohibiting fluoridation. So fluoridation should cease in San Diego especially if taxpayers money is being used to continue fluoridating which is contrary to the intent of the 1995 state law....
