MLPAi I hav lived my whole life 52 years i know when corperate is takeing control from us. I have been involved in the MLPAi for a year now, spent to much time to much money and to much anger.We DID not vote on this they added the i to the end to make people think they did since it is ten years old.I supported it they way it was intended a seven page law,but of course just a few lines made it hijakable to who has the most money.If it were anything like what it should have been it would already be done and it would not cost any where near what it will....

There is no doubt that Schwarzenegger’s MLPA Initiative is an out-of-control, lawless process that must be stopped. The May 28 lawsuit will hopefully mark the beginning of a series of lawsuits by the many diverse communities under siege by the MLPA Initiative.

Mendocino Redwood Company Holds Public Meeting on New THP Process (audio/mpeg 6.6MB) Mendocino Redwood Company (MRC) is changing the way the company personnel drafts Timber Harvest Plans, and they’re looking for public input. The change would stream line the THP process with a property wide assessment of the land to base all THPs on. President Jim Holmes says much of the information in THP's is "redundant" and the process would be a cost and time saving measure. DFG Releases Three Million Juvenile Salmon Near Mouth Of American 
The release of juvenile salmon from Nimbus Fish Hatchery occurs at a time when Central Valley salmon are in their greatest crisis ever, due to a variety of factors led by increased water exports out of the California Delta in recent years. Only 39,530 adult fall chinook salmon returned to the Sacramento River and its tributaries in 2009, the lowest run on record, spurring the closure of ocean recreational and commercial fishing in 2008 and 2009.
