Bryn and Paul were placed on probation after a trial court refused to consider any evidence that that their grow was a medical cannabis garden. The case which resulted in probation being imposed is now being readied for the California Supreme Court. Bryn and Paul were swept up in a dawn raid and are now in jail awaiting a probation violation hearing.

The Los Angeles Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee of the Los Angeles City Council has scheduled 20 medical marijuana hardship exemption application hearings for a special meeting on Thursday August 6, 2009 at 10:00 AM.

A major operation to confiscate marijuana in eastern Fresno County is currently underway. In California it has been over a decade since the Compassionate Use Act. Several years since SB420, and almost a year since the California Attorney General's guidelines.
