“The most important thing,” my friend said on our way home, “is to destroy the state. The Syrian revolution went very far and a big reason for this is that we were able to completely destroy the state in many areas. Even if we can't prevent the counter revolution, destroying the state makes whatever comes after much weaker.”
Text analyzing anarchist solidarity with Rojava and with the Syrian Revolution.

The bad news is that there are more inconvenient truths. Climate change is present, not future. Globalization and protection of the atmosphere do not go together. Climate policy has a policy. Economic profit dominance always has priority over climate protection. The logic of the financial markets to which climate protection often falls victim must be broken. A whole bundle of measures is necessary. Climate protection must go hand-in-hand with fighting poverty....

Since 1982 a single landowner and sweatshop entrepreneur has benefited from US interventions in Honduras. While Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton ignored pleas from Congress to cut off support to Miguel Facusse', who was remembered as a "colorful character" by the LA Times when he passed away last year at the age of 90. As always, on the other side of the social barricade, all the global forces of Capital acted as one body to liquidate the autonomy of our class....

A Steal City…
Far and wide, Hamilton is known as the steel city. Historically, the largest producer of steel in the country, our solidly working-class city has been built around the steel industry. For better or worse, steel has been integral to what it means to be a Hamiltonian. Against this backdrop, we want to make a slightly different proposition – we propos...

As of this writing, there is no obvious path to the White House for Donald Trump. As Harry Enten recently pointed out, Trump's strong unfavorability rating (not his unfavorability rating, his strong unfavorability rating) stands at 53%, a full 16 points ahead of Hillary Clinton's heroic-in-its-own-right 37%. While some combination of electoral fraud and liberal third party candidate could conceivably send Trump to the Oval Office, if the election were to be held today he would lose....

Recently Simon Springer attended a Geography conference in San Francisco, he met with like minded anarchists and anarcho-geographers. His general symposium was in regards to his recent essay, "Fuck Neo-liberalism." A resilient researcher, author and essayist on the subject of neo-liberalism, anti-capitalism, anarchist and anarcho-geographic theory, I felt that a peer review was necessary to help local anarchists understand his theories, and the somewhat recent exchange between he and David Ha...
