A US marine under investigation for war crimes, after he told his local newspaper that he had executed an Iraqi soldier, has become a cause célèbre in his home town, Las Vegas, and has announced his intention to become a policeman....

Two unknown Iraqi soldiers were shot, execution-style, by vengeful Marine, Gus Covarrubias, after mortar shell exploded near him.
What happened: Covarrubias himself told the story to his local paper in Las Vegas, saying he ordered soldier he believed to have fired the mortar to turn around, then shot him in the back of the head. He then chased and shot a second man.
Since then: Covarrubias interviewed by Naval Criminal Investigative Service, but no decision yet made whether to investiga...

A private group of people in Switzerland has filed war crime charges against US President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair. The Geneva-based group, calling itself "Solidarity with Victims of the War Against Iraq," said it was representing Iraqi nationals whose family members had been victims of war acts carried out by US and British troops....

It is one of the most famous images of the war in Iraq: a U.S. soldier scaling a statue of Saddam Hussein in Baghdad and draping the Stars and Stripes over the black metal visage of the ousted despot.
But for Harper's magazine publisher John MacArthur, that same image of U.S. military victory is also indicative of a propaganda campaign being waged by the Bush administration....

I am almost certain GW Bush will stick to his same moral principles when he invaded Iraq to "liberate" its people from rapes and atrocities by Saddam and his regime. Our own USAF academy have long been raping the women cadets. Time for action, bomb the academy. Show the world you mean what you said! Those bastard tyrants at the USAF Academy deserves no more chances. Drop America's secret weapon MOAB on them....
