an author's amendment to SB 797 (Romero) lowering the proposed fine
for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana to $100 in the
case of an infraction, but leaving the alternative misdemeanor fine
at $250....

If it were not for the Buffalo Soldiers much that we see in California and in other neighboring would not be possible. If not for the Black Panthers a lot of empowerment that spread to all parts of the United States and deeply affected people of color would not be possible. The Mau Mau also played a role in empowering emerging Nations....
