A promotional webpage for the 2012 National Human Exploitation And Trafficking conference currently underway in Oakland claims that the purpose of the gathering is "to enhance the capacity of law enforcement and practitioners to combat commercial sexual exploitation of children." And that is exactly the problem, according to sex worker solidarity activists. About 500 people participated in the May Day march through downtown Fresno today. The event started with a rally at Courthouse Park and included a march with the primary theme of immigrant rights. Groups including Occupy Fresno, Peace Fresno, and other community groups also participated in this International Workers Day celebration....
