Despite a very rainy day (unusual for October), Berkeley Critical Mass took the streets of Berkeley back for protest and celebration, turning the tables on fascist earthmamakillin' autodomination. For over THREE HOURS the relatively small group LIVED LARGE all over town to pumpin' PUMPKIN tunes, a prelude to the WALLOPIN' WHOOPIN' to come (Halloween Critical Mass in SF, the legendary, on Oct. 26)....

Oakland Critical Mass rolled down Telegraph, visiting the Art Murmur, encountering a scene where evidently a bicyclist was struck by a motorist along the way. Later, in West Oakland, the group was hassled briefly by a police officer who then left them alone....

Last week, in a presentation at CSU-Fresno about the proposal to build a nuclear power plant in this community, it was reveled that there are plans to ship nuclear waste products up the Central Valley on the railroad lines. David Weisman is seen in the 5:42 minute video below speaking at the forum - The Cost of Nuclear Energy: What’s Really at Stake? What he says is that if Yucca Mountain is opened, nuclear power from around the country will go right through Fresno....
