Striking Oakland city workers continued their strike and rallied at Oakland City Hall on December 11, 2017. The Democratic mayor Libby Schaaf continued to lead the war against the unions declaring that the strike was illegal. SEIU 1021 and IFPTE Local 21 members talked about the growing stress and inability to survive in Oakland and the massive use of temporary workers by the Schaaf administration. Some also called for a general strike to stop these attacks....
