Double Actions at SF Federal Building
Would fewer but larger demonstrations have more impact?

In two simultaneous events in front of Federal Building on Aug. 10, #VigilforDemocracy and People's Alliance activists were there with signs and loudspeakers.
People's Alliance was there to honor the memory of Heather Heyer, murdered by a Nazi in Charlottesville two years ago.
Also represented were the Brown Berets with their large yellow flag and Che Guevara style uniforms.
Both groups quickly joined forces to give their message loud and clear.
Some demonstrators shared the hour with attendance at the daily "Month of Momentum" action in front of the ICE building on Samsome Street.
The month of August has, so far, seen daily demonstrations by a large assortment of progressive groups. This has led to many small demonstrations and many activists are questioning the effectiveness of this as opposed to fewer but much larger actions.

Thanks for your coverage, but Refuse Fascism wasn't even there. The other group (one individual) who was there was #VigilforDemocracy as stated on his signs. They have been having daily vigils in front of Pelosi's office during the Congressional recess.
We had a common purpose to impeach Trump, however ours was very specific: #Impeach45forHateCrimes , which we held on the #Charlottesville2ndAnniversary to #SmashWhiteSupremacy . It was part of a national call for related actions on Aug 10. The shootings the prior weekends in Gilroy, El Paso, and Dayton made the demands even more significant.
Trump has violated numerous Federal hate crime statutes and could be prosecuted/impeached for them today. It's all public record, no need for lengthy investigations.
Other groups in attendance were the Colectiva Brown Berets de la Bahia, Community Ready Corps for Self-Determination, Anti Police-Terror Project, Xochipilli Latino Men's Circle (of San Francisco Bay), Code Pink - SF, and Workers World Party -Bay Area.
