Attorney Marc R. Lewis wants to take net neutrality away from you
By Lynda Carson - October 4, 2018
SAN FRANCISCO - Under the administration of President Donald J. Trump, we are up against a totally corrupt federal government beholden to the broadband providers now in control of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the FCC’s corrupt Chairman, Ajit Pai of Arlington, Virginia.
As recent as September 30, 2018, Governor Jerry Brown signed the toughest net neutrality bill in the country.
In response, the Department of Justice immediately filed suit against the State of California alleging that “Senate Bill 822, an Internet regulation bill signed into law that day by Governor Jerry Brown, unlawfully imposes burdens on the Federal Government’s deregulatory approach to the Internet, announced Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Acting Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio, Assistant Attorney General Joseph H. Hunt for the Justice Department’s Civil Division, and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai.”
Now come the filthy rich billion dollar broadband providers/corporations that oppose net neutrality with their law suit against the State of California. Yesterday industry groups including T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Verizon, Frontier and CenturyLink sue to block net neutrality from taking effect in the State of California on January 1, 2019.
Among the law firms representing the filthy rich billion dollar broadband providers/corporations and industry groups that filed their suit in the US District Court for the Eastern District of California who want to take net neutrality away from you, includes LEWIS & LLEWELLYN LLP of San Francisco, and attorney Marc R. Lewis. Among other things, Marc R. Lewis is a former special assistant to the director of speechwriting for the Clinton Administration, from 2000-2001.
According to public records, the license status for Marc Robert Lewis is active, and he was admitted to the state bar on 12/1/2004. And according to Linked-In, Marc R. Lewis is a partner/owner at Lewis & Llewellyn LLP.
