Pena Adobe Park and Solano County Local Food Heritage

by Khubaka, Michael Harris
Pena Adobe Park is a special place to build a positive new way forward toward a sustainable, equitable and inclusive local food system.

The Peña Adobe Historical Society continues to share our early heritage at the Peña Adobe Park in Vacaville, California.

Historic Peña Adobe, one of the oldest structures in Solano County, dates back to 1842, when the Adobe was the home of the Juan Felipe Peña family, who with the Vaca family, settled in Vacaville over one hundred seventy five years ago.

Today, we are very intentional in helping create an inclusive Solano County local food system that values the past by sharing resources equitably throughout the county and begins to distribute timely information in a culturally meaningful way.

Join us at Pena Adobe Park - Western Day and experience a positive new way forward, sharing the authentic history of Chief Solano, while building a future respecting all my relations, seen.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
