Despite the fact that San Francisco voters voted 75% for Prop 64 in November 2016, legalizing cannabis, and have always led the state with about 75% of the vote for cannabis, 5 members of the Board of Supervisors, Aaron Peskin, Sandra Fewer, Katy Tang, Jane Kim and London Breed, plus mayoral candidate Mark Leno, support banning sales of cannabis in "Chinatown." This matter will be heard on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall, Room 250, by the Land Use and Transportation Committee. See http://sfbos.org/sites/default/files/lut041618_agenda.pdf
