Farm to Fork Friday, Expanding Inclusion Thoroughout Sacramento Regional Food Systems

by Khubaka, Michael Harris
The Farm-to-Fork initiative brings awareness to the Sacramento region's local food production, consumption and sustainability as well as the contribution and exportation of sustainable products to the rest of the nation and world. Together, we kickoff the 30th Annual, Sacramento Black History Expo showcasing a new approach and method toward expanding inclusion throughout the "Farm to Fork Capitol of America"

Join us as we kick-off the 30th Annual, Sacramento Black History Month Expo at our Farm to Fork Friday, Conversation and Reception. You will experience a new direction and approach to expand inclusion throughout our “Farm to Fork Capitol of America.”

Come and learn about new targeted resources that begin to quantify and qualify our early Pan African Heritage, at the dawn of the California Gold Rush Era, 1840-1875.

We can target new investment toward creating stronger inclusive applications that support healthy community outcomes and higher student achievement.

Together, we are poised to utilize new educational ideas and shared best practices from the newly released book, Harvesting Opportunity: The Power of Regional Food System Investments to Transform Communities from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Our Carson Creek Ranch Project is poised to showcase immediate positive impacts expanding and showcasing inclusion throughout our “Farm to Fork Capitol of America.”
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
