On the 24th during the protest celebration for the First We Came For The Homeless, following the court ordered temporary restraining order against the BART PD, Hip Hop The Activist Bunny Rabbit was abducted.
Berkeley Slingshot Newspaper editor Jessie says: "This is the most absurd story I've heard..."
Hip Hop was rescued by a senior citizen activist about seven years ago, he had sustained a leg injury. Veb-ear was a flower child back in the day. Hip Hop and Veb-ear are familiar to activists in the east bay. #OO, #BLM, #OTF, animal liberation, Palestinian Liberation, and anti-war are all protests that Veb-ear and Hip Hop are dedicated to. Most notably local activists including Veb-ear hope beyond hope that the young women are not intending to 'free,' Hip Hop to the wild where he will surely be diminished. Hip Hop is in rabbit years, likely quite venerable. Hip Hop has not received his medication for almost a week now, and Veb-ear is not sure if he will survive very long without it. Hip Hop is dearly loved by Veb-ear and the activist community here in the east bay. We are aghast at this abduction and we hope to see Hip Hop very soon.
