“Ban Trump” Projected onto Twitter HQ

Earlier this week, the North Korea’s foreign minister said Trump had declared war when he tweeted the country “won’t be around much longer.” Threatening violence is against Twitter terms of service, but the company’s official response has only been to allow select users to tweet with 280 characters.

“This is an insult,” said protest organizer Alan Marling. “Twitter’s problem has always been its permissiveness toward racism and abuse. Its toxic online culture forces out women and silences minorities. Allowing trolls to say the n-word twenty more times in a tweet hardly helps.”
