Every year thousands of workers die on the job. In the nation 13 workers die a day and in California at least 4 workers die every week. Worksafe works hard to try to improve working conditions for workers. I'm most saddened and alarmed by the information that in 2015 - the last year we had stats - we lost more Latino and Black workers nationwide on the job than ever before since 2008. I'm looking forward to working with all of you to continue to improve conditions for workers. Please join us on April 28th, to honor the workers we lost last year and continue to fight for workers' lives and limbs in the coming year.
Please come, bring friends, bring co-workers, bring colleagues...
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
