MILESTONE IN HISTORY:
For the first time in over 70 years, an openly socialist candidate for governor of the largest state in the union, California, has a campaign office outside San Francisco and Los Angeles, namely in our state's capital, Sacramento. For those of us who experienced the terrorism of the anti-Communist witchhunts of the 1950s which destroyed the entire Left and the fighting power of labor unions, the latter being the primary goal of the witchhunters, this is an historical moment we are thrilled to see.
