General Strike Needed to Stop Police Killings

On September 2, 2016 in India, 180 million people went on a labor strike, shouting anti-government slogans. India is a country of 1.252 billion people. The US has 318 million. If they can carry out a general strike in a large country, so can we. We can start city by city, wherever the police killing takes place, until the killer cop is fired. A trial is a waste because it is a staged farce with no conviction or a conviction on a minor charge, all at taxpayer's expense. The police are not social workers; they are the armed thugs of the capitalist class. The only thing the capitalist class cares about is profits and even just a citywide general strike will cut profits. It does not have to involved every single worker; just key sectors. The police killings are a sign of both decay of capitalism and desperation on the part of the capitalist class at home, the same desperation that is driving them to the unthinkable: War with Russia, a nuclear power. The only way to stop this madness is labor's general strike.
