2016 Juneteenth Celebration ~ Negro Bar California State Park

by Khubaka, Michael Harris
The contributions by people of African ancestry throughout the State of California remains an open secret. Official recognition remains a legislative conversation yet to be complete. Juneteenth, by statue, is recognized by the California State Legislature and should be revisited to quantify the journey towards freedom. Historic Negro Bar, Sacramento County is a good place to begin the journey... 2016 Juneteenth ~ Negro Bar California State Park along the American River Parkway will come alive in a good way...
