UTR Teachers Rally For Wages "Stop Taking Money From Teachers & Students For Charters"!
Hundreds of United Teachers Of Richmond UTR and community supporters rallied at the school board meeting on December 9, 2015 to protest the refusal of the school board to provide real wage increases after years of wage cuts. They also protested the continuing transfer of public money to privately run charter schools that cherry pick students away from public schools in Richmond while public schools are starved.
