Oakland area poets, musicians, dancers and visual artists participate in worldwide 100,000 Poets for Change, with hundreds of events in over 100 countries.
Sat., Sept. 26, 6-9 p.m.: 100,000 Poets, Dancers, Musicians & Visual Artists for Change in the Town. Niebyl-Proctor Library, 6501 Telegraph Ave., Oakland, CA (near Alcatraz Ave.). Area musicians, poets, dancers and visual artists will participate in this event – one among hundreds in countries around the world, promoting social, environmental and political change.
