On their website The Plaza16 Coalition are "neighborhood residents, businesses, and community organizations from the 16th and Mission neighborhood and Mission District." This group is very active in trying to make sure the Mission district poor and vulnerable residents have a voice, and are not displaced by the building of expensive condo units. Condo units that the poor and middle class residents cannot afford to live-in.
