Federal OSHA Lawyer Darrell Whitman Charges OSHA and DOL Is Captured Agency
Darrell Whitman was a federal OSHA lawyer who investigated whether there was retaliation against OSHA health and safety whistleblowers. He himself and other AFGE workers at OHSA were bullied and harassed for seeking to defend OSHA whistleblowers and he was fired on May 5, 2015 by OSHA chief David Michaels with the support of Tom Perez, the Secretary of the US Labor Department. He charges there is systemic corruption in the agency that threatens the workers and public.
