USA empire ramps up saber-rattling over South China Sea

As a recent Obama speech noted, despite the costly debacles in 2 illegal and terror-creating invasions-turned occupations, America is even more committed to "pivot" to Asia, in a harebrained and desperate attempt to arrest and/or roll back the rising influence of China. Yet this reckless and risky pivot to provocations with a nuclear power is bordering on insanity. Watching nervously over the increasing economic power of Beijing, Washington's Imperial elite has decided to use its only remaining powerful asset--its Iron Fist of Militarism--to throw down the gauntlet at the uppity Chinese: don't mess with the Boss Man in our "American lake," or else we'll use our Big Stick of high-tech weapons(in addition to our other underhanded destabilization strategies such as economic strangulation, financial & trade manipulations, not to mention fomenting civil unrest via color-coded 'revolutions')to enforce Mafioso law in the Pacific Basin.

In the first third of the 21st century, this is the ugly Ultimatum from the Imperialist Bully to any potential challenger to the rapacious 'Washington Consensus.' Will this delusional and aggressive threat lead to a new Cold War? Perhaps only a true "regime change" in Washington could avert that inebriated gambler's gambit?
