Free Mumia Abu-Jamal for Freedom of Press

As we reclaim the legacy of Martin Luther King (January 15, 1929 to April 4, 1968), our response to the phony concern of the racist, warmongering nations of the world, including Nazi USA, for freedom of the press after their CIA-staged attack on a magazine, must be the immediate freedom for political prisoner and former President of the Black Journalists Association, Mumia Abu-Jamal.

We are witnessing the exact same scapegoating of Muslims perpetrated by Nazi USA and Nazi Israel that Nazi Germany perpetrated against Jews, for the same reason: to perpetrate war and fascism so as to maximize profits, the greatest profits being in oil and munitions. Maximization of profit is the primary goal of capitalism, the bankrupt social order in which we live. A serious labor movement that can carry out a general strike is needed to put an end to the private profit system.

As to free speech, no one has a right to FALSELY yell fire in a crowded theater. There is no free speech in scapegoating anyone as it is an invitation to perpetrate war against the scapegoated victims.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is now 60 years old, sitting in prison since 1981 on false charges, framed because he exposed police and judicial lies and murder. For more on his case, see:
