The Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC) is a grassroots organization working to address economic, social, and political impacts of anti-Arab racism through direct services, political education, organizing, and advocacy. We build power and leadership within the Arab community in the Bay Area to fight for our self-determination and for a more socially and economically just society.

Recognizing the diversity of experiences and interests within the Arab community, AROC devises a multi-pronged strategy to meet those needs while prioritizing the most marginalized sectors of our constituency to inform our work. AROC provides a centralized space for analysis, strategy, and formulation of concrete campaigns to organize for change. AROC offers skills training, political education, and legal resources as well as opportunities to build with other organized sectors through coalitions and joint campaigns.

Our Vision:
AROC’s vision is to build a strong and unified movement towards social and economic justice and self determination for our community and all affected communities in the SF Bay Area.
