This week's show features stories from , Radio Deutsche-Welle, the Voice Of Russia, Spanish National Radio, Radio Havana Cuba, and NHK World Radio Japan.
From GERMANY- Russia has restricted imports of food and agricultural products from US/EU countries that have imposed sanctions against them over Ukraine. The UN refugee agency says that more than 700,000 Ukrainians have fled to Russia to avoid government attacks on the east, and that the country is facing a humanitarian crisis. Amnesty International and environmental organizations say little action has been taken to clean up pollution caused by Shell Oil in Nigeria. UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon said the Israeli attacks on UN schools in Gaza were criminal acts. Before agreeing to a 72 hour truce, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that there would be no end to the military campaign without achieving long term security. A 72 hour truce in Gaza went into effect on Tuesday.
From RUSSIA- The British Foreign Office Minister resigned in protest of the government's policy on the war in Gaza, saying it was "morally indefensible." A review of international opinion on the war and the fear of being labeled anti-semitic for opposing Israeli military actions.
From SPAIN- The Israeli Embassy in Madrid accused a Spanish National television reporter in Gaza of being a mouthpiece for Hamas. The disbanded Basque revolutionary or terrorist organization ETA was in the press several times last week.
From CUBA- This week the Associated Press revealed a subversive plan organized by the US Agency For International Development to create unrest in Cuba.
From JAPAN- A report on the food self-sufficiency rate in Japan, comparing it to other developed nations. The operator of the devastated Fukushima nuclear power plant revealed that the damage to nuclear fuel is worse than previously thought. The same operator is seeking approval from fishermen to discharge more contaminated ground water into the Pacific Ocean. I was interviewed for an informative weekly radio show Mediageek, available at http://radio.mediageek.net

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
TIME SLOT on KZYX! This program will be aired on Sunday afternoon at 4pm (PST) on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via < http://www.kzyx.org >

I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt! (maybe a little)
