The West Marches East, Part 1

The West Marches East, Part 1: The US-NATO Strategy to Isolate Russia by Andrew Gavin Marshall, The Hampton Institute: A Working Class Think Tank, April 2014

In early March of 2014, following Russia’s invasion of Crimea in Ukraine, the New York Times editorial board declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin had “stepped far outside the bounds of civilized behavior,” suggesting that Russia should be isolated politically and economically in the face of “continued aggression.”

John Kerry, the U.S. Secretary of State, lashed out at Russia’s ” incredible act of aggression,” stating that: “You just don’t in the 21st century behave in 19th century fashion by invading another country on [a] completely trumped up pre-text.” Indeed, invading foreign nations on “trumped up pre-texts” is something only the United States and its allies are allowed to do, not Russia! What audacity! [...]

Indeed, Russia can only be said to be an “aggressive” and “imperial” power so long as one accepts the unrelenting hypocrisy of U.S. and Western leaders. After all, it was not Russia that invaded and occupied Afghanistan and Iraq, killing millions. It is not Putin, but rather Barack Obama, who has waged a “global terror campaign,” compiling “kill lists” and using flying killer robots to bomb countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, and even the Philippines, killing thousands of people around the world. It is not Putin, but rather, Barack Obama, who has been sending highly-trained killers into over 100 countries around the world at any given time, waging a “secret war” in most of the world’s nations. It was not Russia, but rather the United States, that has supported the creation of “death squads” in Iraq, contributing to the mass violence, civil war and genocide that resulted; or that has been destabilizing Pakistan, a nuclear-armed nation, increasing the possibility of nuclear war.

NUREMBERG TRIALS (1945-46) U.S. Judge Jackson who chaired the anti-fascist trials wrote into world international law that the planning and doing of Aggressive War is the Supreme International Crime on the Planet Earth, as it sets into motion a reactionary wave of events that cause the matter-in-motion to be driven backwards towards and new deeper dark age. It thereby sources all crimes large, small, high and low. He further says that it is the Supreme International Crime whether Germany does it or the U.S.A. does it.

The U.S. Constitution says that all international treaties signed on to it are to be considered as the Supreme Law of the land. It is indeed remiss of the U.S. Imperialist regimes since 1945, that they have been guilty of this Supreme Worst Crime on the planet Earth more than sixty times, including the overthrow of the Korean Workers Party in Korea two months after it was elected by the Korean People after they defeated the Japanese Fascist Colonizers in 1945.

The U.S. Imperialists landed in Korea after the Korean People had democratically elected the Korean Workers Party and that party United the Korean Nation with a governance towards electing women equally, something the U.S. Imperialist government does not do to this very day.

It is non other than the U.S. Military who had supplied the Japanese Fascists military with 50% of the military war materials that made up the Fascist side throughout the thirties of last century.

They did this while crying broke to their own working classes and refusing to pay them a living wage during their economic Depression caused by thirties policies of closing down the factories, thus forcing huge unemployment and impoverishment of the working people throughout America, and the western world.

Only the worker-peasant state in the Soviet Union had full employment during that time. To blame the Russian people for accepting a 97% vote to join the Russian Federation of which they have been together longer than the U.S.A. has been a nation is indeed a fraudulent misinformation designed to Big Lie the worlds people, and the people of the U.S.A.

Workers of the world unite!! End pollution of Aggressive Wars of the U.S. Imperialists, who are in possession, manufacturing, and selling of more WMD- weapons of mass destruction than the rest of the world combined. Ye yet have a world to win!! Production is not destruction, CND first div. says that.
