Bus-Blocking Protesters Call Out Google Staffer Who’s Allegedly Trying To Evict Guerrero Street Tenants
In a recent CEQA appeal before the SF Board of Supervisors, the attorney raised the issue that displacement is considered an environmental consequence that must be considered under California State law. The supervisors voted 8 to 2 to deny the appeal. Since that hearing the claims of the appellant, that the Tech buses are directly effecting displacement of citizens, just got a lot easier to prove. According to reports, a Google attorney who rides the Google bus, handed Ellis Act evictions to the tenants of a building he recently purchased. Read more about it.
