NEW PODCAST!!!- feed://http://www.outfarpress.com/podcast.xml (128kb Highest Quality)

This week's show features stories from Radio Deutsche-Welle, the Voice of Russia, Spanish National Radio, Radio Havana Cuba, and NHK World Radio Japan.
From GERMANY- Paris has been experiencing extreme air pollution leading to free public transportation and limitations on personal automobiles. Former Italian Prime Minister Berlusconi is banned from public office for two years though he leads his opposition party outside of Parliament. US special forces seized a Libyan tanker navigated by anti-government rebels in international waters. The President of Colombia has dismissed the mayor of Bogota despite an international court ruling. The conflict in Ukraine and Crimea shifted dramatically this week.
From RUSSIA- For the show this week I listened to many hours of reports and opinions about what is happening in Ukraine and Crimea. This following piece is edgy but I have heard very little in the American media about the neo-nazi presence in the coup in Ukraine. So here is an interview from the VOR.
From SPAIN- First Spanish press reviews from the day after the referendum in Crimea, including some comparing the split up of Ukraine to the upcoming separation referendum in Catalonia. Some political leaders in Europe object to the way the media is shaping the story of what is happening in Ukraine. A high court judge in Spain has refused to close the case of the Spanish cameraman who was killed by US soldiers in Iraq.
From CUBA- Moscow blasted the US and EU for placing sanctions against a number of Russian politicians as punishment for the referendum results in Crimea. The Argentine President Christina Fernandez criticized Britain for a double standard in their attitude about referendums in Ukraine and the Malvinas (or Falkland) Islands. The Venezuelan Assembly is going to investigate the involvement of a lawmaker and the White House in recent protests. The Syrian Foreign Ministry criticized the US administration for suspending Syria's diplomatic mission in Washington.
From JAPAN- Israeli aircraft bombed several military facilities in Syria, in retaliation for a roadside bombing in the Golan Heights. US trade officials are urging Japan to remove tariffs on some agricultural products so that the Trans Pacific Partnership can be concluded. In Fukushima, TEPCO has halted its water decontamination system because it was discovered that far greater amounts of radiation were passing through the waste water.

I was interviewed for an informative weekly radio show Mediageek, available at http://radio.mediageek.net

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
TIME SLOT on KZYX! This program will be aired on Sunday afternoon at 4pm (PST) on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via < http://www.kzyx.org >

I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt! (maybe a little)

"Nationalism is a set of beliefs taught to each generation in which the Motherland or the Fatherland is an object of veneration and becomes a burning cause for which one becomes willing to kill the children of other Motherlands or Fatherlands."
