15 Wins for the Progressive Movement in 2013
Partial victories are important since they can be strengthened. Problems don't disappear when they are ignored. We are called to be active subjects. Reconciliation means discovering a new unity relativizing differences. As prejudice can be overcome as a stepping stone to the "event of understanding" (the fusion of horizons, Hans Georg Gadamer, Truth and Method), ignorance and poverty can be overcome through structural/systemic change. False diagnosis and false therapy are worthless and only lead to more injustice and concentration of wealth.
