Fraud and bribery probe reaches Canada's Prime Minister

by indyradio.nu
En route to finalizing the Trans Pacific Partnership, Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper will have to explain why his office appears to be involved in bribery, fraud and breach of trust.

Nigel Wright, (at left in the photo) resigned[2] as Chief of Staff to Canada's Prime Minister in May of 2013 after it was reported that he had given money to help Senator Mike Duffy (far right) repay the government for ineligible housing expenses.

Now that emails belong to Benjamin Perrin, chief counsel for Prime Minister’s Office, have been found, an investigation of corruption in Canada's federal goverment expands:

"Court documents released last month show Wright, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's former chief of staff, is being investigated for bribery, fraud and breach of trust along with Senator Mike Duffy, in an RCMP probe that has expanded to include the Prime Minister's Office. In a statement released Sunday evening, the PCO says it was wrong when it told the RCMP and the PMO that Perrin’s emails had been deleted when he left his position in March." http://ur1.ca/g4sra
