Last night the Washington Post reported that the NSA is collecting millions of contact lists from our personal e-mail and instant messaging accounts.[1] This is just the latest in a series of revelations about the government’s overreaching surveillance programs.

We know you’re outraged, and that’s why you are joining us in D.C. at the Rally Against Mass Surveillance on Oct. 26.

But we need to get even more people there. Can you help?

You can help the FREEDOM TRAIN get the word out! Via digital platforms, share the web, email addresses, itinerary and flyer links listed below: digital platforms include: email, social media, forums and mailing lists. Personally message your media contacts, colleagues, & friends.
Please share the FREEDOM TRAIN 2 DC web and email addresses with media contacts, colleagues, friends and family who may like to participate.
From the list of states below, download & print a FREEDOM TRAIN flyer (far right column in table below) for your state and canvas your neighborhood. Be polite, fun-spirited & kind. Only give flyers to people who are enthusiastic and interested. To save expensive printer ink, print 1 at home and print more using a copy machine.

Please download the map, & if possible print it.
While looking at the printed map, orient yourself in relation to the table below.
Using your browser, search the page for the city you will depart from with the key-combination, ctrl-f or cmd-f
Type your city name only and hit enter.
If you are interested in organizing a group of 20 or more people for a 20% group discount, send an email to your departure city with the words "group leader" in the subject field. To get started as a group leader and learn, call the train operator at 1-800-USA-RAIL & ask for "group reservations".
If you want to travel independently, i.e. not with a group, call and speak with a train operator at 1-800-USA-RAIL and make a reservation. To get connected to others traveling to the rally by train, send an email to the departure city listed below from where you will leave.The train operator offers several kinds of discounts to individuals: veterans, retirees, AAA members, and more. Be sure to ask about discounts!
To expedite knowledge share & communication, itineraries and approximate prices are listed below. One-way tickets are generally ﾽ the price a round-trip fare. Only approximate round-trip tickets are listed since many people may choose alternate transport home. Due to availability, prices are subject to change by the train operator. Confirm all prices by calling the train operator at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
