Seeking submissions for local film festival
We are asking for submissions for an upcoming film festival in emeryville
THE YACHT BARKISSIMO PRESENTS
THE FIRST ANUAL FLOATING FILM FESTIVAL
We are seeking socially conscious, artistically unique, pointedly comedic and uplifting films by Bay Area filmmakers to show to an intimate group of film lovers and members of the industry.
Films will be presented with time for short Q&A, and plenty of mingling with food, wine, fellow filmmakers, audience members and potential patrons.
NO ENTRY FEE
FILMS CAN BE NEW OR OLD
RECOMMENDED 25 MIN. OR LESS
ANY GENRE
There will be awards presented in several categories
To submit, please send a brief description of the film, a link to where it can be viewed, and a bio of the filmmaker to Barkissimo [at] gmail.com. If you do not have the film uploaded you can send a DVD to:
Scott Locker C/O Emeryville marina,
3310 Powell street, Emeryville, Ca. 94608
Films will be presented on DVD so you must supply a standard NTSC DVD master no later than Oct. 24th.
Filmmakers are encouraged to attend.
Our goal is that this series will grow into a film festival for socially conscious films that inspire individuals to become more hopeful, active, healthy and inspired. Our first participants will be remembered always as pioneers of the first film festival to take place on a historic wooden yacht
FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE OVER THREE DAYS:
October 29th, 30th, and 31st, 6:00-11:00pm aboard the yacht Barkissimo (http://www.Barkissimo.com)
