Chicano History Revisited

by Mike Rhodes (editor [at] fresnoalliance.com)
This afternoon, Chicano History Revisited, Fresno County (a legacy of activism and advocacy) was held at the Sal Mosqueda Center. The history covered was from 1966 - 1971 and included panelists Dr. Ramon Chacon, Jorge Garcia, Lea Ybarra, Eleazar Risco, Steve Santos, Jose Luis Barraza, Dr. Teresa Perez and many others.

There were about 250 people who in addition to seeing the engaging panels, also saw oral history videos and were entertained by some great musicians (Dr. Loco played at the post program show). The organizers of this event say they will follow this up with a presentation of what happened after 1972.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
